Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. The modeling career she began with was in Italy in Italy, where she was raised and was born in California. She made her acting debut at the age of 16 in The TV film Her Costly Affair. From there to starring as a supporting character in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. It was a hard time when she had to change from modeling to acting since the models were never believed to be actors and were mostly assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy was never discouraged. Her first big roles were in The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. In 2005, she was cast as the lead in The romantic comedic film Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for the role she had been chasing more than a decade. Amy was later a star in major films like the Crank Series opposite Jason Statham, and Shameless.
